Cianalas - Solo Sailing TTRPG

This is an Ashcan and is currently still a work in progress. Everything is in the game that allows it to be playable, however deeper descriptions, final designs and layout are still potentially missing from the game. If you purchase the game now, or obtain a community copy, then you will recieve the full version of the game as it releases

Cianalas is a solo Sailing TTRPG where you attempt to make your way home after being gone for a long time. Set in a fantasy Celtic world, you must brave the treacherous waters and isles of your homeland. With your boat as your only companion, unshoulder the burdens of your past, uncover the Mysteries of the folklore surrounding your homelands and Learn lessons about yourself and the world around you. 

In Cianalas, you will be worldbuilding as you play. You will chart the course of your journey on a map of your creation. Draw the Islands you come across, the encounters you brave and the strange points of interest you uncover on your journey home. A game of Cianalas can last as long as you like, once you feel that you have sufficiently prepared yourself, you can return home. 

You’ll need a few things to play Cianalas

• One or more eight-sided die (d8).

• A Pen/Pencil.

• A Ruler with centimetre measurements.

• A Sheet of paper to draw your map & compass (or use the one included).

• A token or two to help you track your position and track the wind direction.

This game takes inspiration in its use of moves from the Ironsworn family of games by Shawn Tomkins and various PbtA (Powered by the Apocalypse) games
